Imperseal waterproofing sheets provide ideal and practical solutions for overcoming such problems.
Imperseal membranes are factory waterproof sheets of predetermined thickness. These sheets, also known as membranes, are produced by coating a robust rot proof core, with an impervious elastomer modified bituminous compound. The compound is homogenous and highly flexible with rubber like characteristics. These are all important factors necessary for the membrane to function in a constantly wet environment.
The membrane consists of a core, elastomeric bitumen compound and surfacing material, in multi-layers, laminated together.
The core is coated on both sides with the elastomeric bitumen compound. The membrane is finished by covering the upper surface with HDPE film or a choice of other surfacing materials that meet the requirements of a variety of applications. One side of the upper surface is covered with a 10-cm siliconized strip. The lower surface is completely covered with siliconized release film.
